Seaweed Hummus (Vegan Tuna)

How do you make vegan tuna (seaweed hummus)?
Blend seaweed with part of the chickpeas, lemon, and soy sauce to shred it well. Add the remaining chickpeas, capers, vegan mayonnaise, and mustard; process everything until you get a spreadable cream with a tuna-like texture. Refrigerate for a few hours to intensify the sea flavor before serving.
Absolutely delicious, incredibly easy to make, with a fresh and delicate flavor that will make us want to eat it every day. For those who like the flavor of tuna, the taste of this hummus is quite similar. Ideally, we can prepare it about 3 or 4 hours before enjoying it, so the flavors blend and we will savor it even more.

Ingredients
- 480 g cooked chickpeas (2 cans)
- 50 g vegan mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 25 g capers
- 7 g seaweed
- 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1-2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions
Start by placing the seaweed in a blender or food processor with part of the chickpeas, one tablespoon of lemon juice, and one tablespoon of soy sauce. Blend until the seaweed is well shredded.

Add the remaining chickpeas, capers, mayonnaise, and mustard, and blend everything until you obtain a cream. Taste and decide whether to add the other tablespoon of lemon juice and the other tablespoon of soy sauce.

Let it rest for a few hours to better enjoy its spectacular flavor. Enjoy it with your favorite bread, pita bread—in short, it is delicious with anything.
