  • 500 g ripe organic cherries
  • 1 apple
  • 6 teaspoons water
  • Juice of half a lemon

Instructions

  1. Start by washing the cherries well, removing the pits, and chopping them finely.

  2. Wash the apple as well, cut it into large pieces, and place it in a blender.

  4. Place all the ingredients in a small pot: cherries, apple purée, and lemon juice.

  5. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat, cover, and cook for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

  6. Meanwhile, while the jam cooks, sterilize the jars in a pot with their lids, cover with water, and boil for 20 minutes. Remove them and place them upside down to dry. Once our jam is cooked, jar it while still boiling in the sterilized jars, close them, and place them upside down for 15 minutes. Turn them over and let cool completely. Preferably let rest for 24 hours, then enjoy. Note: If well vacuum-sealed, it can be stored for several months, while once opened, it should be kept in the refrigerator for a maximum of 5-7 days.
