Sugar-Free Cherry Jam

How do you make sugar-free cherry jam?
Pit the cherries and mix them in a pot with natural apple purée and lemon juice. Cook over low heat for 75 minutes until thickened. Jar the boiling jam in sterilized jars, close them, and place them upside down for 15 minutes to create a vacuum seal before letting them cool completely.
For lovers of pure fruit flavors who, whether out of necessity or personal preference, do not like excess sugar, this recipe is the ideal option.

Ingredients
- 500 g ripe organic cherries
- 1 apple
- 6 teaspoons water
- Juice of half a lemon

Instructions
Start by washing the cherries well, removing the pits, and chopping them finely.

Wash the apple as well, cut it into large pieces, and place it in a blender.

Make an apple purée.

Place all the ingredients in a small pot: cherries, apple purée, and lemon juice.

Bring to a boil, then lower the heat, cover, and cook for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, while the jam cooks, sterilize the jars in a pot with their lids, cover with water, and boil for 20 minutes. Remove them and place them upside down to dry. Once our jam is cooked, jar it while still boiling in the sterilized jars, close them, and place them upside down for 15 minutes. Turn them over and let cool completely. Preferably let rest for 24 hours, then enjoy. Note: If well vacuum-sealed, it can be stored for several months, while once opened, it should be kept in the refrigerator for a maximum of 5-7 days.
Enjoy your meal!
